Impact of ICT Latency, Data Loss and Data Corruption on Active Distribution Network Control

The ongoing changes in modern power systems towards increasingly decentralized render the coordination of generation assets and corresponding dependency on Information Communication Technology highly relevant. This work demonstrates impact three types ICT errors, namely delayed data, data loss corruption, control distributed energy resources an active distribution network. settling time response at interconnection point between transmission system is investigated simulations. Additionally, two fallback strategies to mitigate are proposed evaluated with regard their controller’s response. Finally, a generalized, aggregated service state description order capture performance network service. It meant improve interpretability results, which can be used compare designs setups.
